Description

Tenuta Porto Selvaggio is an ancient villa from the 18th century, renovated in a full eclectic style, reflected both in the architectural structure and the furnishings.
The villa prioritizes the fusion of various arts and new generations while maintaining its Salentinian soul on the interior, thanks to a conservative restoration. This is demonstrated by the presence of stone porticoes, old courtyards, inner courtyards, wells, ovens, cisterns, and numerous niches.

The villa is immersed in 3 hectares of lush garden, with ornamental plants, an olive grove, orchard, pine forest, and several fields, including a football field and a tennis court, as well as parking. Safeguarded within the charming Tenuta di Porto Selvaggio is a splendid and spacious pool, usable from April to November.

The Estate consists of a central structure and four separate dependencies, all located a few meters apart in the extensive garden. The central structure comprises two apartments, one on the first floor reserved for the property, and the other on the ground floor made available to guests.

- GROUND FLOOR APARTMENT (250 sqm - 6+2 beds): It includes a large kitchen with a fireplace, a spacious living room, a dining room, one large marble bathroom with a shower, and three bedrooms, including one double with a private bathroom (without a shower) with direct access to the atrium, one double/twin room, and one twin room with built-in sofa beds. It's possible to add two single beds in the twin room with built-in beds or a sofa bed in the dining room. The apartment is equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. There is no air conditioning, but the thick walls of the building provide a cool environment.

All four independent dependencies are located a few meters apart and are divided into:

- STALLA (60 sqm - sleeps 4+3): It consists of a living room with an equipped kitchenette, a dining table, and has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers, one en-suite. In the living room, there is a double French sofa bed, and on a mezzanine, a futon bed (one and a half squares). The dependence overlooks a citrus grove enclosed by a wall and has a pergola equipped with a table and garden chairs. Appliances include a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, and a washing machine.

- TENNIS (60 sqm - sleeps 2+2): It comprises a kitchen with an equipped kitchenette, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. It features spacious outdoor patios, one with a dining table and lounge furniture, and the other with an outdoor kitchen and masonry seats. Located next to the tennis court and further from the central structure, it enjoys more privacy. Appliances include a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, washing machine, and dishwasher.

- PINEWOOD (50 sqm - sleeps 2+2): It features a ceiling with star vaults and consists of a living room with an equipped kitchenette, a large fireplace, a double French sofa bed, and one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The dependence opens to the villa's park from the living area, which has independent access through a French door that leads to an equipped pergola with a garden table and chairs. Appliances include a refrigerator, TV, and air conditioning.

- CITRUS GROVE (50 sqm - sleeps 2+2): It consists of a living area with an equipped kitchenette and a small double French sofa bed, as well as one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Both rooms have external access through large French doors and overlook an ancient citrus grove enclosed by a wall. A pergola equipped with garden furniture is also accessible. Appliances include a refrigerator, TV, and air conditioning.
