Enclosed by high stone walls that ensure privacy and peace, the house unfolds around a large central courtyard, where a majestic palm tree rises next to a private pool (8x2m), creating the perfect setting to unwind under the blue sky and the scents of summer.

The property is composed of two separate yet seamlessly connected buildings: an 18th-century historic palazzo, carefully restored to preserve its character, and a more recent annex, known as la Casina, built in 2003 in architectural harmony with the main building. Both buildings are laid out over two floors and can accommodate up to 13 guests in bright, comfortable spaces with 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms in total.

Inside the historic palazzo, amidst vaulted ceilings and stone details, you'll find a spacious eat-in kitchen overlooking the courtyard, a cozy dining room, a large living room with a fireplace and built-in seating areas, 1 twin bedroom, and 1 bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, 1 master suite with private bathroom and sitting room, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom, and a second bathroom open onto a panoramic terrace with garden furniture, hammock, and a view over the courtyard.

The Casina features, on the ground floor, a bright open-plan living area with a fireplace, dining space, and kitchen, as well as 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom. The first floor, accessible only via an external staircase, hosts 2 adjoining bedrooms (1 twin and 1 double), a shared bathroom, and a small terrace overlooking the rooftops of the village.

A private wellness area in the basement, accessible from the courtyard, includes a hot tub, sauna, and bathroom, offering guests the opportunity to indulge in moments of total relaxation.

Corte Mediterranea is located in the heart of Giurdignano’s historic center, in a privileged position that allows guests to experience the authentic rhythm of the village on foot, with its piazzas, churches, artisan shops, and local restaurants. Please note that, as the house is situated in a pedestrian area, parking is not available immediately adjacent to the property, but free public parking is available a short distance away. Also, being located next to the village church, you may hear the gentle sound of bells during the day, marking the peaceful flow of time.

Its strategic location makes Corte Mediterranea an ideal base for exploring the wonders of Salento: the sea is just minutes away by car, as are the region’s most charming coastal towns.
