On Friday, July 18, 2025, in the elegant setting of the Dominican Cloister in Lecce, one of the most anticipated food and wine events of the Salento summer returns: Charme in Rosa, the festival organized by AIS Lecce in collaboration with AIS Puglia, now celebrating its 13th edition.
This is an unmissable event for lovers of fine wine, extra virgin olive oil, and Apulian gastronomic excellence. Starting at 8:30 PM, the cloister will transform into an elegant multisensory experience featuring the tasting of over 200 rosé wine labels and more than 50 extra virgin olive oils, carefully selected from the best regional productions.
A journey of taste: rosé wines and Apulian flavors
During the evening, guests will savor exclusive dishes created by chef Donato Episcopo from GIMMI restaurant, chefs from AQUA-Le Dune in Porto Cesareo, along with cured meats selected by Il Sommelier Clandestino, cheeses from Masseria Cinque Santi, and a selection of traditional baked goods. Adding to the special atmosphere will be music, conviviality, and a refined environment blending history and taste.
Rosés from around the world: the exclusive Masterclass
At 7:00 PM, before the main event, wine culture takes center stage with the Masterclass “Rosés from Around the World”, led by experts Giuseppe Baldassarre, Betty Mezzina, and AIS Lecce speakers. This tasting journey will explore six great terroirs: from France to California, from Morocco to New Zealand, including Germany and Spain.
